Beth Johnson moved to the UK over 20 years ago to do an MBA at Edinburgh University. Post degree she worked for WPP agencies for 5 years before starting her own company, Umbrella, in 2005. She has worked in promotional marketing, focusing specifically on incentivising consumers into action! She has led the Unilever account for the past 11 years and brings a of wealth of experience and energy to marketing teams and their creative agencies. Beth knows what works and what doesn't! All new ideas or campaigns bring a host of concerns around internal capabilities, ROI analysis, legals, budgets, suppliers, and account management...to name a few. Beth is an expert in executing these types of campaigns. In addition to Umbrella, Beth is also on the Responsible Marketing Committee at the DMA and is passionate about Data Privacy and GDPR.
